Steve Boylan

With over 20 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, Steve Boylan is an award-winning business broker dedicated to helping Midwest business owners achieve the greatest financial benefit when they sell their companies.

In 2006, Steve founded Beacon Business Group, where he has served in multiple roles, including President and Managing Director of Investment Banking. In 2022, he merged with Valens M&A, a successful firm whose overall mission and operating principles reflect his own.

Throughout his career, Steve has been an ardent proponent of education and ethics within the M&A industry. His commitment to high professional standards has earned him the Lifetime Certified Business Intermediary designation from the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) and the Accredited Business Intermediary designation from the American Business Brokers Association (ABBA).

Steve has also served on the IBBA’s education and ethics committees, and is a founding member of Wisconsin’s chapters for the Midwest Business Brokers & Intermediaries and the ABBA Best Practices Forum.

Steve is passionate about his work. His goal is to confidentially and professionally help Midwest business owners plan strategically to start their retirement or begin a new chapter and leave a business legacy that takes care of employees and preserves the critical relationship with customers.

When he takes a break from his professional endeavors, Steve enjoys spending time with his wife, four children, and five grandchildren.
